One Day Out
My bag is al-most packed. I reached full funding (a sheer act of God) - only 2 days ago. I launched the new blog and I'm busy making room for all the pictures I will undoubtably take.
Now...we need your prayers.
Pray big for the people of Rift Valley Fellowship, for Kenya, for Maai Mahiu and surrounding IDP camps, for the girls of Lulu Place and the Way of Hope boys. Pray big for our team and pray believing. I've never seen faith in motion or the church being the hands and feet of God in such a real, life-changing, sun-up to sun-down way.
I go, not to gain an experience, but to be a very small part of what God is doing for his people in Kenya. I go to encourage & love. I go to forge relationships & then return again to solidify my determination and committment to their fight for a better future veiled in the eternal comfort of salvation.
I go because He called & then He provided.
